Web 2.0 Examples

Facebook – Facebook is an example of Web 2.0 as it demonstrates the interactivity and connectivity of Web 2.0. Facebook users are able to connect with other users globally and share information and even develop their own applications to contribute to the site.

YouTube –YouTube has become a source of globally shared information on practically any topic. All users are allowed to contribute information to this site, therefore attracting more users who want to view that information. This is an example of how the site users enable the site to grow and develop a large audience.

MySpace –MySpace demonstrates the personalisation capabilities of Web 2.0. Users are able to create their own content and customise their page to reflect their personality. MySpace enables its members to have control over the content of the site.
